Scholarship Finalist, need info!

Hello,

I applied for the Mylonas and Nemerov Scholarships at WashU and I guess I am a finalist for both (really no idea how, but I won't complain). Anyway, I've heard that if you fly out, you're guaranteed to get either half-tuition OR full tuition, but I've also heard that there is a chance that you could get neither.

I am wondering if anybody has more info on either of these scholarships, such as how many finalists are flown out for each, and if every finalists is awarded at least half-tuition (or in the case of the Nemerov, $3000)

It’s different for every scholarship program. I believe the Mylonas (which is an Honorary Scholarship, right?) does offer at least a half tuition scholarship to all their finalists.

I believe all of the finalists are flown out. I’m not sure of any of the other info, sorry.

Most get one or the other, but there is no obligation to give an award. Obviously a finalist should apply himself diligently to the interview process and convey sincerity about the desire to matriculate.
