Does anyone know approx. how many Presidentials are bumped up to Trustee in an average year?

Does anyone know if the scholarship notification letters are available on USConnect?

Bumped up! Interviewed for Presidential and bumped up to Trustee! Dornsife

Presidential ----> trustee :D

My son interviewed for Trustee (Marshall) and is also NMSF. he hasn’t received a letter yet. Two friends in our town received theirs yesterday (they both interviewed/received Trustee’s). Our mail has already been delivered today and still nothing. If he didn’t get trustees and fell back to Presidential/NMSF, maybe he’s getting a different letter?

Or maybe Marshall letters are being sent separately? I didn’t see anyone report that they got a Marshall scholarship letter yet. Thoughts?

Sent from my iPhone using CC

I’m also anxiously waiting for my letter (interviewed for Trustee).
I hope the remaining letters come in soon!

NMFs are automatically awarded half tuition if USC is their first choice, correct?

^ Yeah

…

lulumama–frustrating to have this wait, I agree. I suggest you have your son’s GC call admissions and inquire tomorrow, since two neighbors already got their mail. Worst case, they won’t tell the GC on the phone, but I think they might. Best of luck!! And as has already been stated, he’ll get the Presidential 1/2 tuition plus $1000/year for 4 years due to NMF. So congratulations for that for sure.

I definitely have a similar concern as lulumama. I live in Idaho which is essentially two states over and have yet to receive a letter, though it looks like some people on the East Coast have already started receiving theirs. My mom’s been worried and assuming that they sent out rejection letters after the initial wave of acceptance letters or something of that effect.

Should I be concerned or just wait it out and call tomorrow if nothing shows up?

First, they send out all their letters at the same time.

Next, there is no reason NOT to call. You are already admitted and you know they like you already. The $$ is a big big question for many, so at this point–why not call?

Still haven’t gotten my letter here in GA yet. This wait is killing me! Yesterday, the admissions officer I talked to said they would be out by the end of this week at the latest, but today’s person told me I might have to wait until the end of next week T T ahhh

Thanks for the advice, madbean! I called in, but the two people I talked to gave me conflicting answers about the results.

Do you know if they send you a letter if you don’t receive the scholarship? Or do they only send out letters to those who received it?

^ All scholarship candidates who interviewed will receive a letter. Good luck!

so has everyone received their letters at this point? just wondering since I’m international and I know it can take a while, but I’m dying to know my decision!

i’m also an international and i haven’t heard anything from usc! i remember my interviewer telling me i’ll know by the beginning of april but it’s been a couple days… if you don’t receive or get bumped down won’t they still tell you???

Well everyone’s saying that the reject letters are sent out the same time, so even if that were the case we should have heard by now…

Does anyone know whether the scholarship decision gets posted online eventually? or do you only receive a mail notification?
