This is talking about Purdue Engineering Specifically

Just out of curiosity here...

I got 10k a year to Purdue, but if I got bad grades senior year, would they rescind my scholarship, or would they rescind admissions instead?

like I said, just curious, this doesn't actually pertain to me.

They would probably rescind both.

what kind of bad grades are we talking about?

I'm sorry I didn't make the question very clear

If a person had bad grades senior year, but still good enough to get in the school, would they:

A. rescind scholarship
B. rescind admission
C. Do nothing

Note: I just found this on the scholarship page

"Purdue will use final junior year transcripts only. "

Most universities require a student to maintain certain GPA (often 3.0) while at college to keep their scholarship. It stands to reason they expect decent grades senior year of high school as well. Usually an acceptance letter (whether it includes a merit offer or not) includes a line or two about maintaining grades. This link might be of interest.
