Hello! A few years ago I asked you guys for help with the application process - and now that I am finally at university - I turn to you again!

I am currently a sophmore at an American University situated in France, and I am facing a challenge - there are virtually no scholarships to help fund my education.

Many of the scholarships I come across require one major component - the school must be on U.S ground, and even though my University is certified and allows eligibility for U.S government loans - I am denied the opportunity to benefit from most of the financial aid available out there.

Would any of you happen to know any scholarships, or other forms of financial aid that are not restricted to U.S. based schools, for American citizens?

A few details about me:
-Low-income, single parent household
-3.899 GPA
-I am a competing athlete for the university Equestrian team
-Recipient of maximum available grant from the university (50%)
-Maxed on Gov. loans
-Parent not eligible for PLUS (I do receive the extra funding because of this)
-I work on and off campus
-United States nationality, not eligible for ethnic based scholarships
-Area of study: marketing, advertising, and global communications

With all of my loans and grants - I still have about $4,000 left to cover. Some of it I usually take out with work-study and summer jobs, but this time around I may not have the opportunity to work as much as I could the previous year. I would be very grateful for any advice, tips, or suggestions :)
