<p>i know there are plenty of scholarships for high school seniors. however, since i missed most of them, i was wondering if there are some scholarships for college freshmen. can someone give me a list of the biggest ones? thanks</p>

<p>Some of the scholarships for high school seniors are also open to college students, but not most of the biggest ones. Also check with your college and check with your state to see if they have any. My son has applied for some this year as a college freshman, but the results so far are disappointing. Good luck!</p>

<p>It’s very hard for current college students to win any significant scholarships - privately and from their own school.</p>

<p>You can check with your dept major and see what they have. Usually the awards are quite small…like $500 or $1000.
