Scholarships for College Seniors?

Hello All!

I’m currently a college senior graduating with my bachelor’s degree in May. I have some free time over winter break and was hoping to apply for scholarships. Below are my qualifications:

Major: Business Management
Minors: Mathematics & Economics
GPA: 3.76 (I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Associate’s and have been on Dean’s List every semester)
Extensive work experience- completed seven major-related internships while balancing part-time work
Founded a new club at my college and have active membership in two other academic clubs
Do not receive any financial aid
New York City Resident
Will not be attending graduate school upon graduation

I did a lot during my time in school and want to be recognized/compensated somehow. My only concern is I do not receive any financial aid, therefore I am unsure if I would qualify for certain scholarships.

I was wondering if anyone who has won or applied to scholarships during their senior year have any recommendations of where I can apply or research for opportunities.

Many thanks in advance.

Getting a scholarship that would only be used the second semester of your senior year is likely impossible.

Your diploma will be your recognition. Getting a good job after graduation will be your compensation.

Dude, everyone gets a diploma. You should see my resume…

Anyway, I remember I won scholarships in high school based on community service, grades and extra-cirriculars, but the funds were not mandated to be allocated towards tuition. I know the high school and college scholarship applications are obviously very different, but are there any scholarships like that? Not for tuition assistance or financial aid, but for general use? Just looking to be recognized and earn some extra cash…

When you got those scholarships in HS as a senior, it was because you were continuing your schooling in college.

Don’t count on getting scholarships now.

Your time would be better spent completing job applications.

Even if you found scholarships that were awarded to seniors, it would be unlikely they’d process the application in time to benefit you for next semester.

You are talking about getting prizes, money for something you have done not scholarships to be used toward your education.

No, they don’t exist.

Thanks for the feedback! I had assumed that but figured I would ask.
