scholarships for high SAT scores?

Hello, I’m not sure if a thread like this exists already, but I’m looking for AUTOMATIC scholarships that give money for high standardized test scores. I got a 1550 on the SAT and 33 on the ACT. I’ve tried searching online, but most are for a larger range and I was wondering if there was anything for the higher range, such as 1460+. Preferably, I’d like to go to school in either New England or the West Coast.

How much of a scholarship do you need? Full tuition? Full ride??

Well…New England and the west coast are THE most difficult places to find significant merit aid that is automatic.

I live in New England, and I can’t think of one award that is guaranteed in this region.

In the West, there is a half tuition scholarship to U of Southern California for NMF. Are you one? Other than that…i can’t think of a guaranteed scholarship on the west coast.

What is your GPA…because most scholarships consider both standardized test scores and GPA.

ETA…I found your GPA…4.35 weighted which is great.

You have a chance to get a scholarship if your GPA is high…along with that 1550 SAT score. But automatic, guaranteed in New England, and west coast…that’s going to be hard to find.

Start with post one of this thread…but do check each college website to verify if awards still exist. You can see, most are not in the northeast or west coast.

The NE and west coast are not great with merit.

What is your GPA

What major and career goal?

What is your net cost goal?

How much will your parents pay each year? Ask them, please don’t guess. We see later posts from a lot of disappointed students who thought their parents would pay more.

If you apply early, you might get good merit at Temple, WVU, U Toledo, University of Pittsburgh (top 5% class rank), U Delaware, Ohio State.

But they are competitive, not automatic.
