<p>I'm in my first semester right now. Does anyone know of scholarships for students in general, Honors college students, or specifically for English or theatre majors that I can apply for for next year?</p>

<p>There are internship grants for honors students majoring in English at this site:</p>
<p>I should also mention that there are off-site groups that give monetary awards to students. For example, the University club gives $1,000 scholarships to two students per year, and the IUB alumni association in Phoenix gives an award to the top student attending IUB from the greater Phoenix area.</p>
<p>There are many other awards like this, but I obviously don't know about all of them. You should search the web and contact your department at the school (and the honors college) and ask for more info on similar programs that might apply to you.</p>
<p>Be sure to apply for Indiana University Foundation Scholarships, as well. These are available to students at IU. There are many available, each with its own criteria, and you can apply for most of them through a single application. My son won $500 for his sophomore year and $1000 for his junior year. Not huge, but still a help.
