When do we get word for this whether in state or oos. Also when do financial aid notifications come. They said mid march so sometime this week or???

I heard it was by the end of March. It’s vague 8-|

Thanks gator88ne. Yea that is vague wish we could gave a certain date.

I forget if they said they would email us or if we have to check online for our financial aid package. Anyone know?

You can find information about your financial package on ISIS at UF. It may be incomplete or an estimate if this is the first time applying for financial aid.

I checked just said finished did anyone have money showing up. Just want to make sure I am going to right place

If you check your status (in ISIS), at this point, it will show if you’ve signed your FAFSA and if the university has received it. It will also list if you have any missing documents or requirements on your file. Otherwise, they still haven’t released any rewards. Once they do, you’ll see other options appear under “2014-15” (if you look, you can see those options under “2013-14”, which would have applied to students who applied last year for FA).

@Gator88NE
Do you have any idea when the financial awards will be posted on ISIS?

Thank you @gator88NE

Here’s a detailed Financial Aid Application Timeline.

<a href=“Financial Aid Application Timeline | UF Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships”>http://www.sfa.ufl.edu/applying/timeline/

UF doesn’t commit till “April”, but they ask you to start checking in ISIS for your award info in “March”. The deadline for FAFSA is March 15th, so any aid will be award after this date. I’m expecting most will be coming out the last week in March and first week in April.

The 2013-14 Gator Aid Handbook:

http://www.sfa.ufl.edu/pub/handbook/2013-14GAHandbook_web.pdf

Finally the 2013-2014 Financial Aid Guide. This includes an example of the Award Letter. This is the type of info you can be expecting to receive. The guide goes a nice job of explaining every field in the letter.

http://www.sfa.ufl.edu/pub/brochures/awardguide1314.pdf

Good Luck All!

Financial aid awards were just posted on ISIS.

Thanks ^ how much did you get

When I go all the way to the bottom and click on display awards it says

The page you requested does not exist. SFI-AWD4

Please send an email to report the error.

Then I tried emailing and it said my email was not allowed to email theme anyone know what’s going on

I really need everyone’s opinion right now. I got basically 15k in grants and 9500 on loans. Leaving about 18 to be covered by parent loans. Should still go to uf it’s my dream school, I just don’t want too much debt before psychology school, if maybe med school(depends) @gator88NE what should I do. I am so confused, and sad.

@135pipe

Don’t be sad, have faith that wherever you go, it will be the right place. It’s better to try and fail, then never try at all. Keep striving, never fear failure, and you’ll be a success, no matter where you path may lead.

After you figure out your cost at UF, you need to compare it to TAMU. Talk through your options with your family. TAMU is a great school; a peer to UF. I can’t see taking $18K+ in loans (a year) for UF. Complete your BS/BA at TAMU and then, if you’re thinking of grad school (or med school, UF has one of those!), then look again at UF.

Good Luck!

I just really love uf this sucks ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Well I got FAFSA from texas a&m I got a full ride with only $2888 in total loans. Bye gator88NE it sucks to leave uf. I am crying it hurts so bad.
