<p>DOes anyone know if there are any merit scholarships, besides the ultra competitive Richmond SCholar thing; maybe like a partial schoalrship or something? I'm figuring I won't get the full tuition one, but I would need some sort of money in order to attend. Thanks for any info. </p>

<p>Yes, there are some others: National Merit scholarships, the Bonner service scholarship...I forget the rest. There's a link to all the scholarship descriptions from the UR admissions website. If I have time, I'll send it later. Also, if I'm not mistaken, Richmond guarantees that it will meet 100% of all students' "need". (Their need as defined by the FAFSA, that is). I think there are some EFC estimators / calculators on the web that might enable you to figure out what you might expect from UR in the way of need-based aid.
Do you know of anybody who received a Richmond Scholars announcement/invitation yesterday or today? I was hoping that if anybody had, he or she would post here, but no luck so far. Guess the silence <em>could</em> just mean that the final announcements haven't gone out yet.</p>
