Here is a place to apply for scholarships at IU:
Scholarships

You can read through some of them to get an idea of what is required to receive them. Many require good grades, community service, and involvement with IU student organizations, and some have special requirements, such as coming from a certain town, working your way through college, etc.

in Jan/Feb of your freshman year, you need to go to Kelley's website and browse through all of the scholarships. You then fill out one application that goes towards all 100 or so scholarships. Make sure your fill out the application with any criteria that the scholarships may be looking for.

i received ~$3000 with a Kelley scholarship for being an identical twin so it is definitely worth the effort! good luck!
