Allright,so I'm planning on transfering to Kelley, and I wanted to get some input from people familiar with the university regarding the scholarship information.

I have a 3.7/3.8 HS Gpa
4.0 GPA with 30 units of CC completed (hoping to keep that 4.0 for 1 1/2 more semesters) with membership to Phi Theta Kappa.
31 on the ACT
OOS
Major: Finance (and maybe double major in something else) at Kelly
Unrepresented Minority (not asian)

Basically I just wanted some input on what amount of $$ aid I can receive, to calculate costs, since OOS tuition is pretty expensive. I heard about that 7k per year faculty scholarship I could get with the ACT grade, but is this the only form of aid I can expect from the school ? or are there any other scholarships I could get ? (maybe by being an URM ?)... anyways thanks for all your help, and congratulations to those that got accepted recently.

The faculty scholarships are for incoming freshman. The only scholarships I believe that are university wide for you are the OOS Transfer Student Merit Scholarship, which is only 2K for 1 year. Look into individual schools, transfer scholarships are typically by each school (Kelley has a bunch of $$$ to give away). Check out their website.

oh wow, I thought that 7k a year was for transfer as well as incoming freshman, you caught me by surprise big time there A2Wolves...crap. I looked on the Kelley website and it doesn't have a lot of information regarding scholarships, it just says that:
"The Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship for Indiana residents is currently the only transfer student scholarship." and I can't even apply for that one since I'm not an Indiana resident.

Are you sure though that Kelley gives a lot of $$ away ? do you have any idea the average/range of their aid packages?. The information on their website seems to be very limited concerning FA and scholarships... If it's true I can only get 2k a year to pay for a 27k education though, I'm going to have to sadly start looking at other schools... sniff

I don't know the average packages, but you are well above the average applicant.

Here's the scholarship site, check it out. Kelley has the most scholarship $$$ to dish out out of any school here.

allright, thanks for the info A2Wolves. I think I'll email them or something to get more information, since their website doesn't give a very good idea about it. Thanks for the info again though.
