<p>Son got into BU via ED. If he were to have been considered for any scholarship, would notification already have arrived? I know there’s a small ($1k) scholarship that alot of alumni children seem to get? Not expecting anything, am just wondering when they send out letters if you’re getting some $.</p>

<p>Usually they send a letter notifying you that you recieved some money with the decision letter. That's how most schools do it at least.</p>
<p>Some of BU's scholarships require filing of FA forms, even though they are "supposedly" merit based....in those cases, they cannot be announced until FA forms have been filed (which I think based on last year's dates is right around now?).....</p>
<p>Just to let you know, this caught a number of people off guard in past years.......especially if they were not applying for FA anywhere else......</p>
<p>I think that most schools' fin aid depts are going to be a bit swamped this year, too. BU's aid applications increased by more than 100% this semester/year.</p>
