Hey, so I have read on here and I know some friends who got that $8,000 dollar scholarship over 4 years. When I applied and was accepted back in November, my stats were a lot lower than they are now. I was just wondering, is there any way to apply for that scholarship now that my grades and scores are much higher? Will they still consider me for it, even though it's been a few months?

Help? Please. :/

You don’t apply for those scholarships, as in filling out separate paperwork. Both my kids were granted various scholarships when they were admitted. They were notified very quickly afterwards based on what they had submitted. I do know that the scholarships have become more and more competitive as students with higher stats have been choosing UCF than in the past. When additional test scores are sent to UCF, they are added to your admissions packet. Whatever they use to “flag” those eligible should flag for you, too, if your new stats make you eligible. Remember, there are a lot of kids who know they’ve been admitted to UCF because of the university’s rolling admission policy. However, many of these same kids are waiting for other schools to notify them of admission before they make a decision about what they’re doing. With my s UCF was his first choice, so he didn’t care as much about the other school he applied to, but with my d, UF was her first choice, so eventhough she’d been offered the Pegasus gold she turned it down. This opened her scholarship up for someone else, but not until after the UF notification. Others will be doing the same thing … making decisions after other schools and scholarship opportunities are known to them.

Ohh okay, that makes sense. Thank you!
