Hey guys, I’m planning on entering the Scholastics again this year, but I was wondering if you are allowed to enter more than one submission in the same category? Because I want to eventually enter two dramatic scripts. Is that possible?
Check with your faculty advisor at school who will be submitting it for you. Sometimes depending on the no. of students applying, some schools only allow one submission in each category per student.
Yes. You can.
“…You may submit works in as many different categories as you want. However, do not submit the same work in multiple categories. Read the category descriptions and determine in which single category a particular piece belongs.”
“Some regional programs limit the number of student submissions in order to manage capacity. Please refer to your regional guidelines for more specific information.”
From the FAQ (http://www.artandwriting.org/the-awards/faq/) which seems to agree with the answers above. The regional guidelines page (http://www.artandwriting.org/the-awards/guidelines-deadlines/) seems like it should tell you if there are any particular limits on your submissions. My region never had any.
Thank you guys
