I received a scholastically qualified letter today but it noted that "if I was medically qualified and received a nomination I would be in line to compete for an appointment. I have been medically qualified since September and this is noted on both the CIS and DODMERB website. In addition I recently received an MOC nom. I was wondering if anyone knows if the admissions board reviews the entire package or just the academic portion. If they do, wouldn't they know my medical status?

You probably just received a form letter. When it comes time for appointment, they do look at entire package. Things are looking good. Good luck, our fingers crossed.

Rancher, my scholastic qualification letter said precisely the same thing, even though I have been medically qualified since October. I agree with USNA2012MOM that this was most likely a generic letter sent out to all scholastically qualified applicants. Congrats on your qualification and MOC nomination, hope to see you on I-Day.

You'll find USNA likes one-size-fits-most-if-not-all. Congrats. Do your push ups, run, swim.
