The forms for the common app all seem to be print out forms? Is this correct? Do I actually have to ask a professor to writer a letter of rec/evalute me with the knowledge that I will have to then make a copy of that page for more than one school?

Also, what is the leniency with mailed forms arriving late?

Yes, all CA transfer forms are hard copy/snail mail only, no electronic submittal.

However, you cannot make the copies after the prof has filled out the form, the prof must make copies and put them in envelopes that are then sealed and signed across the seal. This makes them official and assures that they have not been tampered with.

Schools can sometimes be lenient for things like LORs since they are somewhat out of the student’s control, but I would never count on it and would get things postmarked by the deadline.

Is it ok to submit CA transfer forms before submitting the application and supplement? Will the school automatically make a file for you if they receive a LOR, College Official’s Report, or Transcript?

I have a question…within the school forms section of the transfer common app does the “school report” have to be completed by someone at my old highschool? If so why?
