essay on supplement:
"With the understanding that the choice of academic school you indicated is not binding, explain why you are applying to that particular school of study."
(how long should this one be?)

Rice/Baylor Program essay:
"What aspirations, experiences or relatioships hae motivated you to study in the 8-year Rice/Baylor Medical Scholars Program?"

Aren't these 2 prompts essentially th same? Aren't I just going to talk about medicine in both of them? can i just submit the same essay since they are reviewed by 2 diff committees?

How long shoud the first one be? and how long should the long essay on the common app supplement be? it doesn't say

p.s. Rice superscores right? so does Baylor? who actually decides for Rice/Baylor Prgram --- baylor?

They're not meant to be the same. The first refers to the academic school (humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering) to which you're applying. This essay shouldn't be centered on medicine, since being pre-med has little to do with your major/field of study.
The second essay is more medicine-centered.
Plus, as maysixxmom said, BCM will see your Rice application, so you'll definitely need to change it up.

I did Rice with Questbridge ( that was 3 essays, not the common app prompts)
and now I am doing Rice/Baylor, would it be ok if I used bits and pieces of the Questbridge essays? OR are you NOT supposed to have any overlapping essays? because that would suck because I wrote like 5 for Questbridge and frankly I am out of topics :(

ya Questbrige is for financial aid, but the essays are there
I think I am going to use bits and pieces of some...wayyy to hard to write that many :P

I am single spacing, otherwise it just won't fit

i'm going to risk pillory and say I am still not 100% sure how I should write 2 different essays. ok the Baylor one is obviously medicine. So for the natural sciences college essya, I write about biology or the major i'm pursuing? It's just that sme of the reasons are the same. I'm applying for that college with medicine in mind, and I'm doing medicine becasue I like biology (hence bio major in college of natural sciences)

So for this topic:
What aspirations, experiences or relationships hae motivated you to study in the 8-year Rice/Baylor Medical Scholars Program?"
are we supposed to describe our past medical experiences or say why we love Rice/Baylor?
