one of my teachers is having trouble accessing the internet so she can't upload my rec. letter right now. I noticed that the School Forms do not show up in the print preview of my Common Application. While I understand, that schools want complete applications by the deadline, is it possible to submit School Forms a little bit later? I'm not talking about the formal side, I'm just figuring if Common Application will automatically remove the link to submit these after the deadline or not?

Why not have your teacher print and USPS mail the recommendation letter to the school?

And then you or your guidance counselor contact the school and let them know its in route. Personally, I think honest communication with the school and your admissions rep at the school is the key. Do what you can and try to stay as close to deadlines as possible considering a circumstance like this one.

The school won’t “process” and evaluate your App until its “complete” anyway. I responded to similar posts like this, you can search on my ID.

My D submitted Common App on-line to schools, and the teacher recommendations were submitted on paper instead, not with the actual common App itself.

The problem is I am an international student and sending paper copies would take forever. The teachers in my school are not necessarily familiar with the CA environment, so there have been delays.
