Are the School Forms the Transcripts?

Common App has been sent, teacher recommenders have filled out their part online. Counselor said they don't have the ability to send transcripts online. Does this mean that the 'school report' is sent via paper to each school?

Can the 'school report' be printed off and taken to counselor to fill out via paper? Counselor's e-mail has already been entered. Should it be deleted to be able to view and print the school forms?

Also, another question… If the counselor was able/willing to fill out the school report online, would she just have to fill it out once and then it could be selected for each school (like the teacher recommendations work)

I have the same question!

I had the same issue with the counselor at my school due to the software used for transcripts–they couldn’t be uploaded digitally at all. I think the only way around it is to use the paper school forms. You don’t have to delete the counselor’s e-mail, though. If the school rep is having trouble accessing the school forms after selecting the online option, then try re-sending the invitation. S/he can then select the offline option and applicants can provide him/her with all the required school forms (counselors can’t really print them themselves because the print version has a “student only” section). I’m not sure if there’s a way around it…

inhabited_world is correct - just have the counselor opt-out from the email message, then you will see that reflected on the School Forms page of the application. You’ll need to print out the forms from there and give them to your counselor.
