School location is important? or the school's prestige is important?

As a international student major in business. which one is important? the school location or the prestige?Right now, I only got accepted in Ohio State University as a transfer student, but i am thinking to apply some university in New York since there will have more jobs opportunities after graduate. So what do you guys think?

I guess its both- you have to weigh the pros and cons of it and decide.

If i got accepted to carleton and Johns Hopkins both, i'll probably go to Johns hopkins because of the location of carleton (-40 degree in december).
But if i didn't get into Johns hopkins and got into Boston university , i'd go to carleton. In which case prestige would count more.

In your case- you need to be more specific about some college in new york- as it is Ohio state isn't that prestigious anyways.

You need to find an acceptable compromise - if the location sucks, it wouldn't hurt to choose a marginally less prestigious school in a better location.

to sum it up:

if its relatively the same prestige, go for the nearer

if its of obviously diff prestige, go for the prestigious

if its neither of the above, apply another

In my case, between Ohio State University, and SUNY or CUNY, Which one is better?

Is School in NY really get more opportunities to interviews??

Thank you guys!!

Id actually go with Ohio State becuase its definately got more prestige when compared to SUNYs or CUNYs especially if you plan on majoring in business/finance.
