school of business admission

3.45 gpa, about 40% class rank, 30 on my act, in-state, activities are mock trial and marching band

obviously i would say raise your GPA is the most part. 3.5 or above would raise your chance a lot.

Being a sophmore in carlson, this is the best way to get in. after that it;s 3.8 or above freshman year or above to get in.

Average class rank is 88.3%. Fifty-two percent of the admitted class for 2010 are in the top 10%; only 11% are below the top 25%. Average ACT score 29.3.

would a college gpa of 3.76 or so be good enough to get into csom? without taking other scores into consideration. just wondering.

i didn’t take the ACT but am looking to do the SAT some time soon.

If I remember correctly from the admissions website the average gpa to transfer into CSOM is around 3.75-3.8. So I’d say you have a good chance (better so if you have a lot of EC’s).

yes 3.76 would be okay. but other things would have to follow with it. 3.76 with a 23 act or 3.76 with 30 act for example is a very big difference in the eyes of admission officers. but if you can follow up with testing score, ec, and also good essay, i think you would be okay.
