What are the advantages/disadvantages of this school vs. the College?

Smart, hot, women who can save your life dude......

Plus: It's way easier to get into. Minus: You have to want to be a nurse.

I guess about the academic courses. Can you take the same courses as those in the College and have the same opportunites.

I guess can you be Pre-med in the school of nursing?

You can as a Penn student take course outside of your school. You can apply to medschool as a BS/nursing. You can apply to medschool as a history or classics or art major also.

People keep saying how much "easier" it is to get into nursing... is there any hard data to back it up? The only stuff I can find on the penn website is for the U as a whole.

other ideas?

Get a new name or forever be known as a TROLL on this thread. You are still at a junior membership level and thus......can it and start a new life.....or post on Harvard as that is what you identify yourself to be.

hazmat, you are the man. you must get mad hot girls and go crazy at Penn. wow, good for you! you really are da man

you know, just because he's an idiot doesn't mean you aren't one too. ;)

yea! thanks muppetcoat. Since you are a muppet, how are Kermit and Piggy?

Actually, they're on a break. Miss Piggy caught Kermit in bed with Camilla... and then she cooked chicken for dinner, so Gonzo isn't speaking to them either.

Nursing has a 42% acceptance rate.

They complain that Nursing admits lower the quality of our College/Wharton stats......yup they do. They say we have a high admit % because our population is larger and Nursing pulls us up.

The program is too small to have a major difference in the grand scheme of things. Engineering is what brings up the acceptance rate.

but you will read anecdotal assertions of the Nursing bashing regularly. It is no wonder that there is a nursing shortage.....no respect....no pay....no spaces to increase the number in programs. One can only hope that the business/health side of the industry can help to correct some of these problems.

if we know one thing, we know that gaylord focker went to school of nursing.

other inputs?

Don't bother applying to Nursing unless you actually want to get a BSN. They will sniff you out as a backdoor applicant if all you're trying to do is get into Penn and then transfer to another school.

The Nursing students have the toughest schedules in my opinion. Imagine having to do all those clinicals during the school year!

If thats the way to get into the college, then I AM UP FOR IT!!
