School Recommendations?

I go to a large public school and i am in the top 7% of my class. I have a 3.87 unweighted and 4.25 weighted. I have a 31 composite and a 33 superscore. I have strong extracurriculars that include 4 year variety athlete and captain senior year as well being very involved in community, putting on fundraisers. I also have work experience at a small start up and own my own tutoring business. There is more but your going to have to take my work they are also solid. I also took 7 Ap’s including Calc and got a 3,4,4,5 on the ones I have already taken.

Was wondering what kind of caliber of school I should be looking at.

thanks!

You’re a twin?

What are your parents saying about how much they’ll pay EACH year for EACH twin?

Academic interests?

yes I am a twin

and I am open to any suggestion regardless of price.

thanks

Run the Supermatch tool on the left side of this page. Then run the Net Price Calculators for each school to see if you can afford them.

What state are you in and what major are you interested in?

I agree with using the Supermatch tool…you can put in where you are interested, your scores, your major, etc and get some great ideas.

Another vote for supermatch tool. You might also try to get your hands on some good college guide books and start reading (ex. Fiske, Insiders Guide, Princeton Review) which are often available in guidance departments and libraries. Be sure to consider what is affordable and any specific attributes you would like in a college.

RE: I did the college supermatch and was matched with michigan, virginia, brown, tulane , colombia and cornell.

Do you guys think these are viable options for me.

Are they affordable? Whether or not you can get into a school is only half the battle. How much will your parents pay per year?

I’d be shooting for mich, uva, and Tulane as REACHES. Definitely look into more target and safety schools. Good luck
