How is the school spirit at Tufts? Do people usually go to sporting events such as hockey and football games? Thanks!
The lack of an answer is your answer. Lol

^That’s a silly response. The spirit of people who read (or don’t read) this forum is not correlated with the spirit on campus in the least.
Maybe everyone on campus is too busy with their events to make an appearance on this site
Seriously, my impression is that the school spirit at tufts is comparable to what my older son experienced at brown and what my friends’ kids at JHU and Amherst describe at those colleges. So, not like umichigan (I went to grad school there and I still remember that the crowd roaring at the football stadium was so loud that I could hear it in my apartment several streets away). But what I have noticed at tufts is a community cohesiveness. And over parents weekend, there was great turnout at the athletic events and at the arts events, like the a Capella concert. I also went to watch tufts crew that weekend at the head of the Charles regatta in Cambridge & that was a blast. It was packed & the town was hopping. Before we left tufts that day, we saw the canon on campus painted in honor of the crew teams.
Jumbo pride is a huge deal, but sports aren’t. School spirit manifests itself in other ways.
