<p>5 Schools that come to my mind when I saw this post:</p>

<p>My opinion: School spirit definitely does not always entirely upon the success of the athletics program. It can be hugely influential at some, and just an extra bonus at others. </p>
<p>Although I'm biased, Princeton, along with Yale, Cornell, and UPenn, have very spirited student bodies. Although its true that the fodder for Princeton's morale is usually victory in its rivalries with the other Ivies, the school definitely has a very rah-rah attitude in most things. Princeton Reunions, which is the most well attended college reunion in the world, is also extremely popular among students, and many stay for the event, albeit libations are often a huge drawing factor. In general, students are very involved and supportive of the university. </p>
<p>Another school which has extremely high school spirit in my opinion is the University of Virginia. I have never heard students (and their parents) speak so highly and affectionately of their institution and its many traditions as UVA students do. </p>
<p>Also, I would throw in Indiana University Bloomington.</p>
