<p>I'm planning on majoring in Biology, and I'm applying to a lot of the UC (university of california) like Davis, SB, Irvine, SD, etc. </p>
<p>I'm interested to know what you guys think are some good schools that are a notch down from UCs, but still would be reputable college options. I'm also looking for safety schools if y'all have any input.</p>

<p>What are your geographic preferences - are you looking to stay in california? Any preference on size? Urban/suburban/rural? Cost?</p>

<p>If so, you may be better off not at a UC where pre-med is very competitive.</p>
<p>What is your budget? How much will your parents pay?</p>
<p>As mentioned above…will you go out of state?</p>

<p>Money is not an issue, however the school must be in California. </p>
<p>School size and setting don’t really matter to me either :)</p>
<p>Most of the Claremont colleges would be reaches for you. Possibly San Jose State or Santa Clara University? SF State is also a good place to check out.</p>
