Hello everyone,
Is there a list or thread someone can point me to which discusses which schools offer merit based scholarships to transfer students? If no such thread exists, can folks on this forum give me some pointers of which schools do offer such aid.
Reason I ask is that I am noticing many of the schools that do offer merit based aid to incoming freshmen do not seem to offer that to transfers.

MOST, as in 99=%, of merit scholarships are reserved for incoming Freshman.
You’ll have a very hard time finding merit scholarships for transfer students- I’ve never seen such a list in 12 years here on CC.
The only merit-based scholarships that I’ve seen for transfers, are generally small-ish amounts that are guaranteed to members of Phi Theta Kappa (national community college honor society) and sometimes also guaranteed for transfers who have the GPA required to join PTK.
Yes, schools like Duke specifically say merit scholarships will not be awarded to transfer students. It’s rather unfortunate, I must say!
