schools other than HADES..

What are some schools that are good but not quite as rigorous as HADES and GLADCHEMMS that are COED

The Taft School, CT (US News Top 13, 10 Schools Admission Organization)
St. Andrew’s School, DE (US News Top 13)
St. Mark’s School, MA
Mercersburg Academy, PA
Episcopal High School, VA
The Thacher School. CA (US News Top 13)
St. George’s School, RI
Cate School, CA (US News Top 13)
Peddie School, NJ

There are more.

Concord Academy, MA

Oh and some of the school listed IMO are just as rigorous as HADES. (some). You’ll still work your butt off in them.

Blair Academy, NJ
Brooks School, MA
Loomis Chaffee School, CT (10 Schools Admission Organization)
Webb Schools, CA

@DAndrew Could you kindly post a link to the US News Top 13? Thanks.

Oh that’s nothing. I should’ve deleted that info before posting those schools. Many years (at least a decade) ago, US News had a feature article about boarding schools and they chose 13 schools to report on. I don’t know why they are called “top 13” in this source (it wasn’t a ranking in the first place). They are basically GLADCHEMMS minus Middlesex plus Taft, Thacher, Cate and Western Reserve Academy.

oh… any others that are not as top tier as those but more like a berkshire or NMH

common yankee… do your homework before you make people write random lists for you.

I don’t know that I would call yankee “common”…

dear leanid,
Mea Culpa.
I cant get “common” out of my head after our mayor used it on LeBron
revised post - common, yankee…etc etc

You mean c’mon, as in “come on…”

I know you didn’t mean to, but you wrote the same thing in your revised post! Have another cup of coffee, mhmm :)

It’s a common mistake…

See, this is what you get when you learn your slang from the New York Post headlines

Hmm, a commonality that many share…

…perhaps they shouldn’t be "post"ing…

Now that I mentioned it, I’d better get it right. It’s GLADCHEMMS minus M&M, plus Cate, St. Andrews (DE), Taft, Thacher and Western Reserve.

[Western Reserve Academy - News & Events - U.S. News & World Report profiles WRA](<a href=“Page Not Found - 404 Error | Western Reserve Academy, OH”>Page Not Found - 404 Error | Western Reserve Academy, OH)

Including Concord, that was 10 more schools outside GLADCHEMMS. Here’s 10 more.

The Hill School, PA (10 Schools Admission Organization)
The Loomis Chaffee School, CT (10 Schools Admission Organization)
Northfield Mount Hermon School, MA
Westminster School, CT
The Governor’s Academy, MA
Kent School, CT
Blair Academy, NJ
Brooks School, MA
Pomfret School, CT
Tabor Academy, MA

Drawn from my old list which only contains schools on both coasts.

Thank you!!
