Schools that want international students

What are the universities that have a reputation for selecting international students. I am Dutch, and I have a Dutch High school diploma plus I am taking APs this year.

Are there any universities that are keen on international students?

University of Cincinnati is looking to increase its number of international students this year :)

I'd sat pretty much every college or university below the top 20 (by US News standards) is actively looking for international students who can pay the bill...

That is what turns me off :D

Welcome back B@rium! How is Bryn Mawr? :)

Trust me -- Americans have to pay the bill as well. We don't have a free education system, even when it comes to public universities.

^ I understand that momwaitingfornew :)

But its way difficult for us. For example consider the exchange rate. $1= Rs45 or something. My parents will have to give away their 6 year worth of savings for 1 year at a public university ;)

ajayc..I completely agree with you.
For us ,international students who are not rich by american standards, paying the college bill is very, very difficult.

If you can pay, every college would want you mate!

But anyway. Macalester has an active international population, if that helps.

^..But not the need-blind ones and few need based ones..but, yeah, I must say, money is in the central part..

Unfortunately, that holds true for most things in today's world

is that for real: if I can pay I'll get in.

Because I thought being an international will increase my chances, but someone else told me that being an international, regardless of aid, will decrease my chances??????

Also, I think there are only a few thousand Dutch undergrads in the States, will that help me????

Let's change the topic question: what are the schools who want international students so badly, that they are willing to pay (almost) their full tuition? Is there any:)?

what about someone who is 1/4 Portuguese, 1/4 Vietnamese and 1/2 Chinese, is this type of mixed ethnicity international favoured among US colleges?

@angelutza: I don't really know of any!

angel: University of Cincinnati!!! And some low tier colleges. Check out North Dakota State University. :)

Curious Kid: Its doesnt matter what is your ethnicity is but what matters is where you have lived. Or how many different places you have lived.

If your grads are good...then CMU, Purdue, Penn State, Even UCB, and many...

CMU Purdue Penn State :No aid at all

UCB : Difficult to get the ruddy scholarship

Ah, I was talking about the condition when the student is willing to ''pay'' the tuition with no aid..:)..

oh yeah Purdue is all-go for them :D

Score a ruddy 1800 and pay your win into one of the best engg. colleges :)

So I basically need to get what kind of SATs to get into my schools????
