Rice 10char

WashU 10 char

Just going on the number of NS courses offered from a couple of years ago, but worth a look:

Emory
UMichigan
Vandy
JHU
UVA
CMU
UChicago
BU
URochester

Rochester definitely. Good merit aid (depending of course on your stats) and excellent neuroscience program, particularly with the medical school across the street from campus.

I agree with Chedva. Also take a look at UMiami.

Look at Vanderbilt as well.

Northeastern has a behavioral neuroscience program - and offers good aid to very good students

University of Pittsburgh has a respected program that shares faculty and facilities with neighbor, Carnegie Mellon. PITT offers a number of full tuition scholarships to both instate and out of state students.

University of Rochester is a good choice but you need lots of aid to pay for $50,000+ price tag. Not sure what their top scholarship is these days.

^ Rochester's Renaissance scholarship is full-tuition; they also have half-tuition and lesser awards, I believe.

An important but not always easily found piece of information to know is just how many of those top scholarships are given out. This applies to all schools not just U of R.

For a smaller setting, Lafayette College in Easton, PA has a neuroscience program.
