Science Advice

What science programs can I take during the ACADEMIC YEAR in the NC area.

So I am a Sophomore student at a NC high school. I am currently dual enrolled at my local colleges where most of my classes are college classes. I plan on taking Eng 111(equivalent to English 3 @ high school), ACA 122 (a class i need to take to be able to transfer my credit.), and World History (online, no other choice). My high school classes are not certain i had to write down classes i may not take which will be replaced by college classes. such as (ap calc ab, civics, microbiology(really want to take), health science 2(have to finish),physics honors(really want to take), pe(need it to grad.).

(cut me off lol) ABOVE ARE THE CLASSES I PLAN ON TAKING JUNIOR YEAR!!! the thing is I have a very booked schedule, i plan on doing some hospital volunteering junior year, but to sign up for Governor’s school for natural science, i need some more science extracurricular.
BTW: my school does not have science Olympiad, we have HOSA, which i plan on competing junior year, and i dont think we have any honor’s societies.

You should take Biology, Chemistry and Physics while in HS to prepare yourself for any college. If possible, take an AP or College level version of one of those.
But what do you want to major in? Because if you are thinking about pre-med you should consider if taking CC science classes is the way to go.

i have already taken Bio honors, and Chem Honors, i plan on taking Physics Honors junior year. My college allows me to take gen bio and gen chem, so i dont see the need of taking AP bio and Ap chem. I plan on doing pre-med. and majoring in public health and chem or bio.

You take AP Bio or AP Chem to prepare you to get an A in gen Bio and gen Chem.
