My daughter was scheduled to take AP Envir. Science next semester (we are on a quarter schedule in HS). SHe wants to NOT take it as the horror stories are running rampant about the teacher, which apear to be true.

She has taken Earth/Space, Biology, and Chemistry.

She has been accepted to Emerson, Drexel, USD, Univ. of Denver, Baylor, and Univ. of Montana. Waiting to hear from UC Davis, Chapman, and Santa CLara.

I called Drexel, Emerson, Denver and they all said no problem, but I didn't write down who I spoke with (my bad!). Baylor REQUIRES 4 years of science, but her admissions rep emailed me and said it was okay to drop ??

Her HS counselor is talking potential doom and gloom if she drops.

She is considering a semi-equivalent class online at JC, but doesn't want to take it unless necessary.

She will probably have the lead in her HS Musical, as well as being Head of Costumes, so she will be at school every day until at least 8pm all semester.

This year's classes: AP Lit, AP Pysch, Gov/Econ, Musical Theatre, ROP Screen Printing and the AP Env. Science she wants to drop.

Advice please???
