I am a freshman, and my school offers four AP science classes. I want to take as many as possible. This year, they would only let me take regular biology, but I still have three years left.
Four classes are:
AP chemistry
AP physics
AP environmental science
AP biology

I am thinking about taking two science AP classes my sophomore year. Is this a good idea?
I can handle the challenge of AP classes, as I am already in AP stats this year. Please help, thanks in advance!

It’s only been three minutes lol
If you can handle it, then sure. Just make sure you don’t take on more than you can handle.

Yea I thought about what classes I should take sophomore year before freshman year was even half way done, too.

What else do you want us to say? You have plenty of time to ponder your situation. You have only been in school for a few weeks. See how you do in your current classes, and then decide.

sabertooth: let your guidance counselor help you with this one. You’re in 9th grade, it’s been about 3-4 weeks, right? You’re not changing anything just yet, are you? So, hang on. Do well in the courses you are in. Join clubs, teams. Make a difference in a good way. Many schools are like yours: Honors or reg Bio, then Honors or reg. Chem next year, and Honors/reg. Physics another year. Then you can choose. It’ll leave you w/ 1-2years. Many kids end up doubling up. It’s not absolutely critical for you to take AP courses. In fact, Honors courses can be far more challenging b/c the teacher can use discretion about the curriculum compared to the AP route. Few people here want to guide you b/c it’s HS specific (and it’s early in the year). That’s why you have a guidance counselor. Now lean of those !s

my school doesn’t have honors courses, only regular and AP. it sucks

bumping every five minutes? -.-

typical freshman.

It won’t be that hard. I’m doing it.

Anyways. ■■■■ ■■■■■.
