<p>Hey guys, I have been going though the ACT 1296 questions and have found that the science section is rather challenging. I am consistently getting 8ish wrong... is this the same difficulty when compared to the real ACT, or is this harder? Thanks!</p>
<p>I have the same problem. I typically get 6 wrong when I look through the test, but when i actually arrive to school and take some practice exams, my score is worse. IDK if its test anxiety or so, but either way, standardized tests suck!!</p>

<p>the reading was the closest to the real thing though, although there were a couple reading sections that were harder than normal
the english is a lot harder
the math was decent, maybe slightly harder</p>
<p>1296 is probably the best prep besides the red book and has a lot of realistic questions, but obviously nothing can beat the official practice tests</p>
<p>I agree about the science and the math. As for the reading, I though it was very similar. I was very happy to have that for reading. For english, I think it was around the sameish haha. But science was INSANE!!! I kept getting 7-8 wrong, yet on the real ACT prep guide I would get 3 wrong…</p>
<p>Is this true? I’ve been doing 1296 and have almost finished the book. If you guys are right and the english and science on the 1296 is actually harder you’ve just given me a morale boost.</p>
<p>I just took an official science practice and got 2 wrong (I made a mistake on some density problems =/) whereas I would get 7+ wrong on science. So science is WAY harder!</p>
<p>I definitely agree that science in the 1296 questions is harder. The passages seem to be a bit obscure.</p>

what does everyone else on here think about the reading section? I got -3, but am not sure how close they are to the real thing. They seem close to me, but idk…</p>
