The crap California budget strikes again.
I'm a Philosophy major at a CCC, I've finished all of my pre-reqs, have a 4.0 GPA and every other class finished on my IGETC.

Except, the lab I was supposed to have with my physical science class was completely full. I've been crashing it for 3 weeks and still the instructor turned me away unfortunately.

The college and transfer counselors at my CCC say the lab attached to the science, with my credentials, is something the UC's generally won't care much about. Any thoughts?

Register for classes as soon as you possibly can. I’m sick of people crying about not getting into a class when they register the day before/after the semester begins. Of course, my comment was specifically directed towards you. I may be wrong in your case.

There was two labs available versus the 8 human biological evolution classes being offered. I tried signing up as early as possible and stuck in the class for 3 weeks. But I still didn’t get the class.

I agree, I get upset when people don’t sign up on time then get all butthurt because they don’t have classes but in this case I genuinely did everything I could.

Commute to another school. It’s what many of us have to do.

You think your situation is bad, try being a CS major where only 60% of prereqs are offered at most campuses.
