Science-oriented Clubs?

I'd like to start some Science-oriented clubs/teams this year at my school. So far, I'm going to start a:

Science Bowl team, founder+captain. We'll be competing in a regional competition and hopefully will go to a national level.

I don't know what else to do. I'd like to start some more clubs, but I don't know what competitions to focus on or anything.

Any input is appreciated.

what state do you live in? science olympiad? science league?

I live in Maryland.

some competitions to think about:

JETS/TEAMS (easy engineering competition)
various math competitions (mu alpha theta, mandelbrot, amc/aime, math league,...)
USPhO/USChO/USABO/USACO -- you could spend a while preparing for these
science fairs (intel/siemens/isef) -- I guess the club's function would be to provide moral support?

I agree with jets91: Science Olympiad.

Thanks for the tips guys. My school already has a JETs team and we recently won our regional. I don't think the Science Olympiad has registration for MD, so unless you guys can prove the opposite, I can't really register a team.

Good luck!!!
