Score Choice Question - SAT Reasoning Vs. SAT Subject Test

Hi, I've perused the site before but I was just wondering if a college requires "Highest Scores - Version 2" on the College Board's list of colleges' score choice policy - does that mean I am required to submit a SAT Reasoning Test Score (my highest one) if I only want to submit SAT Subject Tests of my choosing? (I took both the Reasoning and Subject Test. I only want to submit Subject Tests of my choosing).

Sorry if the question is confusing.

bump. i wantto knmow this too.

especially for stanford and upenn. can we still send just SAT II’s when they say “score chocie”

bump~ i would want to know this too

Under the highest scores provisions, I read it as saying that you can send whichever (SAT or SAT II) scores you want from any date(s) you want. In other words, they use complete score choice. So for your specific question, you don’t have to send SAT scores, you can just send whichever SAT IIs you want.

S & P are different as both DON’T accept score choice. However, since S does not require SAT IIs, they say that you can send SAT IIs selectively:

[Testing Requirements : Stanford University](http://www.stanford.edu/dept/uga/application/freshman/testing.html)

P is tougher to figure out as they accept either ACT or SAT but also want 2 SAT IIs. If a student is using the SAT, then it’s clear that all SAT and SAT II scores must be sent. What’s not so clear is if the student sends the ACT but then also needs to send SAT IIs, do they need to include their entire CB testing history (ie. SAT scores as well)?? My assumption is no, their intent is that if you send your ACT, they don’t care about your SAT, but expect you to send all of your SAT IIs. But that’s just my reading of it, to be sure give their admissions office a call to get the official answer. This is all very new, so we’re all trying to figure out what schools want.

I just came across this thread and have sort of the same question. Cornell wanted ACT or SAT Is and two SAT IIs. They also do not honor score choice. I sent in all my ACT scores and all my SAT II scores, but never sent in any of my SAT Is! Is this okay since I’m using the ACT and not the SAT? I know decisions are coming out tomorrow … but I’m really scared this will prevent me from getting in! Help!

bump, i know this thread is pretty old, but can someone answer this question? i have the same question as jackdaniels

You should be fine as Cornell wants the ACT OR the SAT I, along with two SAT IIs.

I recently called both Stanford and Penn admissions offices with the same question.
Stanford wants all ACT scores + SAT IIs (you can choose not to send SAT I), but Penn wants ACT + SAT I + SAT IIs (I had to ask this twice).
