Score Predictions!

What do you guys think my score would be?

E - missed 6-8
M - missed 3-4
R - missed probably like 12-15 (my weakest)
S - missed 6-8

------- Thanks, Galib.

E-I think I did the best I’m probably ever going to do. Maybe 2 or 3 wrong.
M-Fairly confident about this section too. Maybe 2 or 3 wrong.
R-I don’t even know. Probably about the same I’ve gotten on practice tests. (25 or 26)
S-This section dominated me. I’ll be ecstatic if I get above a 21.
W-Haven’t had too much exposure to this section, so not very sure. I think I did ok.

@BRY

Lol everything you wrote sounded exactly like my score haha.

E- Missed 4 or 5
M- Missed around 10
R- Missed about 5
S- Missed about 5

E - pretty sure i missed zero, though i tend to make stupid mistakes
M - definitely missed zero… i triple checked my work this time (unlike when i got those two 35s back in 8th and 9th grades…)
R - probably missed 3 or less
S - missed at least one, maybe two (ice does not hang suspended in clouds… grah)

essay – really depends. i had 6 freaking body paragraphs, so hopefully the whole correlation between length/score helps out; didn’t have many examples but had lots of logic

E - Missed none
M - Missed none
R - Missed none
S- Missed none

Essay - 5 paragraphs total.

Assuming I get most of them right (probably 10 wrong on the Math), what could my score be?

Wait, so are you saying you think you got none wrong on the math or 10 wrong?

yea I’m a little confused.
Any ways any 30+ and I’ll be so excited.
Post how many u guys think you can get wrong in each section to keep a 30

I had this sheet from my prep class from that gave the number of questions right and the score you’d receive. It probably doesn’t have any curves or whatever though.

I thought this was harder than the Feb Test I took (except Science)

E = None to -2
M = -3
R = -2 to -5
S = I don’t even know but think its gonna be -3 to -5

English: Maybe -2
Math: none (hopefully I didn’t make any dumb errors)
Reading: -5
Science: -6ish

What do you think my scores will be?

English: None that I can see so far, but I’ll assume a -3 because the highest I have on it is a 30.
Math: -2
Reading: -6ish
Science: -1/-2

Scores:
English: 33
Math: 34/35
Reading: 30/31
Science: 34/36(with nice curve)
Composite: 32(worst)-34(with luck) Predicting another 33 though. Superscore bumps to a 34 with a 32 English(which I expect) but my others (35M,31R,36S) won’t be going up.

^^ moneymaster:
According to the sheet:
E: 34
M: 36
R: 30
S: 27
Comp: 31 (or 32, does ACT round up?)

^ yep they round up. That’s why 34.25’s and 35.25’s are so painful.

Ok, then 32 because it was 31.75. Good job if you had the numbers correct, moneymaster! I’m hoping for at least a 30 myself, but I don’t think it’s going to happen. :/

oh cool thanks! And most colleges superscore…right?
My superscore would then be:
E: 34
M: 36
R: 30 (same both times)
S: 30
SuperComp: 33
I’m happy with that :)

That’s awesome! Lucky. Who knows, it could be higher if they curve some things!

lol hopefully. That would be awesome if my science curves up a bit ;)

English-30+
Math- 31+
Reading-26+
Science-31+

Hopefully composite is 30+

I’m kinda new to the whole ACT thing. Do colleges look at the Composite or the individual section scores or both?
