Hello all,

My son incorrectly entered his social security number in his personal information on collegeboard.com way back a long time ago. He has since sent out all his scores for all his college applications. Is the social security number used to match scores with applicants? Is this incorrect ss number going to cause problems with colleges receiving his scores and matching to his application? We fixed his SSN with college board today, but scores have been sent long ago. The reason why we figured out this error is because he got a letter yesterday from one of his colleges saying that his application was incomplete due to no SAT scores. I called them today and they did just receive his first SAT scores, sent out Dec 5th, but not the ones sent out end of December. They said, oh, don't worry, the other ones will probably show up. It takes a long time to process scores. But obviously, I am a bit worried. Does anyone know if a mistake with the SSN on College Board will cause problems with college applications? Should we resend them all to be sure or am I needlessly worrying.... My son has mainly applied to UC universities. Also Stanford, Harvard, Princeton, Yale. Thanks.
