<p>i have no idea if major choices/interests shown in essays affect the way admissions looks at SAT scores. but maybe you do!</p>
<p>so here's my thing:
my math score is low. my critical reading and writing scores are much higher.
i am interested in the liberal arts, as shown by my major choices and what i've written in my essays. i know some math classes are prereqs, but i'm obviously not going to take any more than i must. </p>
<p>will this give me any leeway with my math scores? or do they assess all applicant scores the same way?</p>
