Should Selected Major Reflects Strongest SAT Area?

Hello! I'm a senior who just received scores from my second reasoning test...I took it in March, scoring 2050. I received the same score on the math section (610) both times, even though I studied it over the summer. My new score is 2200 (800 CR, 790 Writing - 8 on the essay).

How much should this influence my decision of what college to apply to within a school, e.g. UC Berkeley (in state)? I have a good chem/bio background and decent math classes (in Pre-Cal this coming spring), but obviously math isn't one of my natural talents. Would applying for a language related major significantly boost my chances for admission to selective schools, or am I placing too much importance on these scores?

Haha ironic typo in the title.

Bump. Now I’m wondering if writing is even considered as important as CR/Math.
