Scores for Scholarship?

Sorry for such a useless thread, but I was pondering upon the answer to this question:

What scores in M, CR, and W do I need to get on the SAT in order to earn a scholarship? Thanks!

A scholarship to where? Some private schools in the NY area start merit scholarships at 1150, and they rise accordingly with the score. I am not sure if you are talking about a specific program though...

Oh, I'm sorry. Do you mean schools as in a specific high school or a specific University?

If it's University, then a scholarship to the following:

Rutgers University

Princeton University

TCNJ (College of New Jersey)

Rowan University

http://admissions.rutgers.edu/080101.asp for Rutgers in-state and out-of-state merit scholarships...

Also, what about ROTC?

^ Ahh, that must mean that I need at least a 600 (CR) and a 700 (M) to fall between their lines. Better get started then. D:

NewEngSocSciMan - here is one link for Army ROTC scholarship info:

And one for the Air Force:

And one for the Navy:

Uncle Sam can be generous with support, but he does want something in return. Choose wisely...

I don't believe Princeton offers merit scholarships

Oh, I didn't know that. :0 Are you sure?

http://www.princeton.edu/admission/financialaid/how_it_works/principles/

if you look at the second principle, aid is solely based on need. sorry =(

but Princeton is known for being one of the most generous with its financial aid though (100% need blind) so it's worth a try

Aww, that stinks! D: But yes, you're right..it is worth a try. I'll see into that, since I'll probably need financial aid for Princeton anyway.

What about The College of New Jersey and Rowan University? Oh, I'm so glad that some college deadlines are in Feburary-March 2008 rather then November/December (I'm not applying for ED). <3 It makes it so much easier for me to concentrate on one college at a time.
