<p>I received a 1500 on the new SAT’s, and a 1040 on the old SAT’s. I am wondering which score would be more accepted by Arizona, or any college in general, and which score I should submit?

<p>They will get all of your scores and count the best one, and your percentiles will determine which is better (I'm going to assume the old one is because you average 520 points per section on that vs. 500 on the new one but the percentiles on the new one are probably different so I'm probably wrong.) However, neither one may be good enough for Arizona which has an average SAT score of 1115 (old SAT) so it would definitely be in your best interest to improve your scores to give you a better chance of getting in because even though those scores are probably good enough (with decent grades, etc.), they also may not be.</p>
