Cforrester your eligibility index is 4030. My son is trying for environmental engineering with 4202 and I’m worried about that too. We’re in state, out of area. How about you? If you’re in the SDSU area, you’re probably good. Good luck to you!

I wish they would send out the notices. Anyone get anything recently or know how selective these majors are?

I heard that the eligibility index cutoff for Engineering students last year was about 4100. It would depend upon the Stats from this years class. My son is applying for computer science with EI (for SAT) of 4202 and (for ACT) of 1056. Good Luck and I hope we hear soon.

Cforrester, calculate your eligibilty index (EI) at this link <a href=“First-Year Students | SDSU”>First-Year Students | SDSU; - gumbymom was saying that she heard last year you needed at least a 4100 EI for engineering. That’s the SAT calc of course.

Anyone from Out of State get accepted into SDSU yet for the Class of 2018 ? My son is still waiting…were acceptances sent in the “regular mail” ? Congrats to those accepted and good luck to all still waiting…

Thank You PinkBentley. Pretty sure my son applied right before the 11/30/13 deadline…did not expect a response in December but now way past anxious as we go deeper into February…hard for a Parent NOT to suffer along with our kids ! Hopefully, they are checking out our FAFSA submission and will not only respond with an Acceptance but with some meaningful financial aid ! Good Luck to your Daughter wherever she winds up…

My daughter was accepted yesterday! OOS Texas! She is graduating a year early and we had some emails w admissions to make sure all requirements would be fulfilled. Good luck POPS4RYAN!

Did anyone get an email from SDSU about a week or two ago suggesting you apply for a particular scholarship? Do you think that receiving it means they’ll also be accepted?

to the mechEngineers that got accepted, did yall also get accepted to UCSD? i was a student @ucsd for a bit i know they had hella TAs to help out for econ, math, science, engingeering. idk how popular the graduate program is for engineering @sdsu but having the TA as a resource will increase your chances of success by a lot. im a stats major and some of my classes so far have not had any TAs which was shocking because nearly all my classes @UCSD had TAs.

Congratulations, dvs6799, on your admission. My son attends SDSU (Political Science), and absolutely loves it. He was admitted two years ago in December. My daughter would also like to attend there, but hasn’t heard, as of yet.

I just checked the portal and I got accepted! I checked last night and it said no decision had been made so it was sometime today between the early morning and 230 pm. So excited! Btw my major is English.
