I recently got into the "Television, Film, and New Media" major at San Diego State University. I honestly didn't think I would get in, so I was surprised when I got the acceptance letter. I took a trip to the school back in November and I wasn't that impressed with the film/television department compared to San Jose State and CSU Northridge. The building was small, and some of the equipment seemed outdated. Although upon doing further research of the school, I found out there was a production studio that I didn't see, so there are probably other things I missed as well.

Anyway, after I visited the school, it sort of went down on my list, but when I found out I got accepted I was ecstatic. I began doing extensive research on the school, and I've pretty much been trying to convince myself to go. I loved the atmosphere, as well as their thriving basketball program. I think SDSU would be such a cool school to attend and put on my resume, I just want more trust in the film department. Is there anyone who has already been through this major or is currently attending it that can enlighten me more on it's accomplishments/characteristics? Thanks!
