Hey everyone! I’m currently a high school senior hoping to apply to SDSU as a nursing major. I just want to know what my chances are of getting in??
Current high school stats are: 4.8 weighted GPA (10th-12th grade only; 4.6 if freshman year included) and 3.9 unweighted, class rank is 4 out of 342, and SAT score is a 1360 (630 reading, 730 math). I’m also a California resident if that helps.
It would also be really helpful if anyone who got admitted is willing to share the stats that got them admitted, thanks!
Maximum CSU GPA is 4.4 since they cap the extra honors points at 8 semesters for 10-11th grades only. Please recalculate your GPA using the Rogerhub calculator. The Capped weighted UC GPA = CSU GPA.
Your overall CSU GPA is within range. Your SAT might be good enough as well. I would apply to many programs even outside of CA (such as Univ of Portland and Gonzaga U which are both direct entry schools). I would read through the nursing major specific threads of the last couple years as well as folks shared not only their schools and stats but also how much renewable merit money they may have received at each as well.
