<p>I am a student at SDSU and applied to transfer to UCSB. I was admitted and submitted my SIR to attend UCSB but now I am having second thoughts. I like my major at SDSU and don't really care for the major at UCSB. I am not even in the major at UCSB so I have to prep for the major and maintain a certain GPA to be admitted. Should I go to the UCSB because it is a UC over a CSU? I personally like the academics at SDSU but the social life and college community at UCSB looks more appealing. Any advice out there?</p>
<p>If you like your major and will graduate sooner, stay in San Diego. Also it is a lot less $$.
I don’t think it will matter for an employer if you went to SDSU or UCSB. Obviously your doing well so I wouldn’t worry about it. The college community at UCSB is fun but so is San Diego. It is a personal choice but do what feels right for you then keep moving forward. Good luck to you.</p>
