SDSU (San Diego State) vs ASU (Arizona State) Engineering undergrad?

Which has a better program, rep, resources, jobs, etc. Does being in Barrett make a difference and do they take transfers? I currently attend SDSU for mechanical engineering.

bump

I don’t think ASU would provide a big reputation bump over SDSU for mechanical engineering. Engineering employers recruit regionally and aren’t too particular about pedigree. If you want to stay and work in the San Diego area, I would stay at SDSU.

I assume you’re in-state for SDSU, correct? How much more would ASU be? I wouldn’t spend additional money for ASU.
