I've eliminated all the schools that I was interested in, and it basically comes down to davis or sd. I was accepted to Cal Poly SLO, UCI, UCdavis, and SDSU.
I'm looking to major in mechanical engineering. I visited both campuses, and I really liked san diego state and where the campus was situated. Davis was also a very nice campus, but didnt have much outside the small campus town. I want a school that I will really enjoy, but that I can graduate and find a job right out of college. I really dont care about the whole "UC is more prestigeous thing", I'm looking for a good school, with layed back people, and somewhere I'll really enjoy. Any suggestions would be great.

uc davis has a great engineering program. more of a college town but if you can find a ride outside of town, you got a city in sacramento.

san diego state is probably going to be less academically demanding, tons of fun and partying, greek life, plus city like and close to the beach.

(i got rejected from ucd and going to sdsu. maybe we should switch places, lol)

yeah dude, ucd is a much better school, ull be much better off going to davis
